TOM BABBITT
Tom lives in Boston with his wife and creative collaborator, veteran Boston photographer Francine Zaslow. Babbitt studied art, music theory & composition at Oberlin and Hampshire Colleges; He played in Boston clubs in the late 80's with "Talking to Animals" before going to MASSART and working as an Art Director for over a decade. In the early 2000's, he earned his Masters in Counseling Psychology at Antioch New England Grad School, and works in private practice to this day. He once set a goal for himself to create a :60 animation every day - and post them on Instagram - he ran out of steam roughly 200 days later. He's been writing and recording music since his mid-teens, and has created a large body of Fine Artworks since COVID - and is currently showing at TAG Gallery in Boston's SOWA District. This is the "template" his parents handed down... with them, it seemed there was nothing they wouldn't try.
